About the project
Hi, my name is Bektu Conley and I am a seventh grade student at Northwood Middle School in Spokane, WA. In my science class we are doing a life science project. On this project we have to pick some kind of problem in this world and solve the problem by using scientific methods. I chose AHOPE for Children organization for my project. My hypothesis is by creating and promoting this website and participating in Charity Week at school, I will be able to raise $500 to feed the children at AHOPE for one month. The reason why I picked AHOPE is because I wanted to help them care for HIV positive children in Ethiopia. I am from Ethiopia and was adopted in 2008 when I was 12 years old.
