Instructors Mr. Clarke Wismer
Mr. Wismer has been teaching for 11 years in SD #34, and at Robert Bateman Secondary since 2005. He currently teaches Law 12, Psychology 12 and is the coordinator of the RBSS Golf Academy. He is also involved in the Chilliwack Fire Depatment as a Paid-on-Call Firefighter.
Mr. Wismer has been involved in hockey as a player and coach for 32 years. As a player he began playing Jr. Hockey in Southern Ontario at the age of 14 finishing with 2 years of Jr.B in Thunder Bay, ON while attending Lakehead University. For the past four years he has been a coach in the Chilliwack Minor Hockey Association. Clarke has run youth development camps for the past 4 years and is head coach of the 2003 VSZ Jr. Jets Elite Spring Hockey team in Chilliwack.
Mr. Wismer is a certified Hockey Canada coach and Hockey Canada Safety Person.
Mr. Jeff Dods
Mr. Dods has been teaching for 15 years in SD #34 all at Robert Bateman Secondary. He currently is the Career Counsellor for the school, and has been a Provincial champion rugby coach in the past.
Mr. Dods has been involved with hockey for 36 years as a player and coach. He played Minor Hockey in Prince George. Played Junior A Hockey in Kelowna and Captained the Prince George Spruce Kings. He played Varsity University Hockey at UBC where he was Assistant Captain and Awarded the teams best defensemen. Mr. Dods also represented Canada in Senior AAA at Four Nations Tournament in Holland. Presently, he is coaching Hockey 1 and 2 in Chilliwack. In addition, Jeff runs several youth development camps throughout the year. As well, Jeff is the Hockey Coach Coordinator for Chilliwack Minor Hockey. Jeff has a Masters Degree with a focus in Curriculum and Instruction.
