L'Australia fa parte della mia vita,ho avuto modo di girare nello stato del Victoria dove ho vissuto a Melbourne,passando per il Great Coast Ocean Road,al parco nazionale del Victoria,a Phillip Island e Ballarat all'età di ventidue anni,poi sono tornato a vivere a Melbourne a venticinque anni per studiare inglese e in questa esperienza ho toccato anche il Northern Territory conosciuto come Outback e il grande deserto rosso.

Hi everyone!!Viaggio in treno in Australia:
Nel mio libro parlo del mio stupore nel vedere ad Alice Springs passare davanti a me il grande treno Ghan,questo treno che viaggia partendo da Adelaide e arrivando a Darwin per un totale di 2.797 chilometri tagliando in due l'Australia passando nel cuore dell'Australia.
Questa è un esperienza unica da fare in Australia, vedere l'Outback australiano in tutto il suo splendore, nella comodità con aria condizionata, mentre si gode un buon cibo e il sonno della buona notte con il magico cielo stellare e questo è il viaggio più interessante per gli amanti dell'Outback .
Il nome Ghan è dato dai cammelli Afghani che un tempo prima della costruzione in Australia della ferrovia percorrevano tutto questo tratto e permettendo i vari spostamenti.
Viaggiare in treno in Australia è un insolita e meravigliosa occasione per sperimentare la distesa infinita del Outback australiano, in aride pianure dove laghi di sale riflettono tutti i colori dell'arcobaleno, scorci di natura e dell'insediamenti dell'uomo nel deserto che non cambia mai, viaggiando in treno lo si può notare di persona.
Oggi il viaggio di 2.797 chilometri in treno da Adelaide a Darwin impiega solo due notti, non due mesi come ha usato il leggendario Ghan dei vecchi tempi.
Io ne parlo nel mio libro perchè non mi aspettavo di incontrarlo,andando nel grande centro rosso l'unico modo per vederlo era ad Alice Springs e proprio li l'ho visto camminando nella mia scoperta del paesaggio intorno a me,subito sono riuscito ad immortalarlo con la mia fotocamera e per altre curiosità leggete il mio libro...Enjoy Australia

In my book I talk about my amazement at the sight of Alice Springs to pass me the great Ghan, the train that travels departing and arriving from Adelaide to Darwin for a total of 2,797 km cut in two Australia through the heart of Australia.
This is a unique experience to do in Australia, see the Australian Outback in all its splendor and comfort with air conditioning, while enjoying good food and a good night's sleep with the magical night sky and this is the journey more interesting for lovers of the Outback.
The Ghan is the name given by the Afghan camel that once before the construction of the railway in Australia traveled all over this stretch and allowing the various movements.

Provate qualcosa di nuovo, che non avete mai fatto, uno sport diverso come andare in canoa in un fiume, un'arrampicata o una camminata impegnativa alla portata di tutti con percorsi e fotografie uniche.

Viaggiare con i migliori orari e con degli abiti adatti per il freddo, caldo,scarpe comode,è molto importante e con la compagnia giusta,meglio pochi ma buoni

Con lunghe distanze e solo per arrivare nella destinazione scegliete l'aereo ma poi spostatevi con la macchina, a piedi, in moto, in bicicletta per godere tutto il paesaggio e soprattutto scoprirlo di persona

Una bella avventura corta e intensa dai tre ai cinque giorni, è inutile e molto stressante rimanere molto tempo in punto solo, deve essere tutto intenso senza pause.

HI Mate,parliamo un po di visti per entrare in Australia, sono molti i ragazzi che vogliono entrare in Australia, chi per andare a studiare e chi per fare esperienze di lavoro e di vita e chi vuole dedicare una vacanza per esplorare questo continente tanto grande da avere l'imbarazzo della scelta su cosa vedere per prima, scoprire la natura,gli animali strani che vivono solo li e sfidare il deserto estremo dell'Outback, : ) per la prossima vacanza scegliete l'Australia, non è un posto impossibile, molti pensano che essendo dall'altra parte del mondo da noi puo essere molto costosa o scomoda da raggiungere, assolutamente non è cosi !! sono molte le compagnie aeree che volano in Australia,e ci sono tante offerte di vacanze, tour proposte da agenzie specializzate Australia, tutto si puo fare ma il mio consiglio è sempre quello di farlo con la testa sulle spalle, non buttarsi alla prima agenzia di viaggi, ma trovare quella che offre il servizio migliore a un prezzo valutato per la qualità e non la quantità, molti vogliono visitare questo continente in due settimane!! ci vorrebbe una vita per visitarlo tutto!!
questi tour che vi sbattono in 20 giorni toccando tutta l'Australia vi garantisco che sono inutili e non vi godrete niente del vostro viaggio, l'Australia si deve vivere per ogni cosa che ha da offrire.
Scegliete una metà particolare ad esempio l'Outback come ho fatto io e descritto nel mio libro con il tou di cultura Aborigena, oppure gli amanti del mare possono scegliere le isole del Queensland , con la grande barriera corallina, o la spiaggia di Surfer Paradise per gli amanti dello sport e il surf, oppure tour nelle grandi città come Melbourne, Sydney, Perth,Brisbine tra gli zoo,gli acquari,i musei, gli sport golf cricket e football o il tennis e giusto un altra bella meta avventurosa la freddina Tasmania con un ambiente da scoprire immerso nella natura.
20 giorni di una sola esperienza fatta di una grande avventura, toccare tutto con mano e essere protagonisti,scegliete le tante agenzie specializzate Australia e partire sicuri con fiducia e vi rimarrà per tutta la vita.
Per i visti più richiesti sono i visti vacanza che sono divisi in lunga permanenza e corta permanenza,quello di corta permanenza è valido per massimo 3 mesi, e permette di studiare per lo stesso periodo ed è' possibile richiederlo all'Ambasciata, e da poco anche le agenzie viaggio possono emetterlo gratuitamente on-line, quello di lunga permanenza ha una durata massima di 12 mesi, concedendo però un massimo di 3 mesi di studio ed è ideale per chi vuole studiare e in seguito viaggiare all'interno del paese e puo essere richiesto solo all'Ambasciata.
Poi c'è il visto studenti in cui è obbligatorio per chi frequenta corsi di studio superiori ai 3 mesi. Viene concesso per il periodo di studio richiesto più un ulteriore mese extra che vale come visto turistico, usufruibile per viaggiare in Australia e questo visto dà la possibilità di lavorare per un massimo di 20 ore settimanali e il permesso di lavoro va richiesto direttamente in Australia presso qualsiasi ufficio DIMIA (Department of Immigration, Multicultural and Indigenous Affairs), dietro pagamento di una tassa. Il visto studente va richiesto all'Ambasciata.
Il visto più richiesto dai ragazzi è il visto vacanza lavoro che è unicamente concesso ai cittadini dell'età compresa tra i 18 e i 30 anni inclusi di queste nazionalità: Italia, Francia, Germania, UK, Irlanda, Danimarca, Cipro, Svezia, Olanda, Finlandia ed altre nazionalità asiatiche, e permette di studiare fino ad un massimo di 3 mesi, e di lavorare fino ad un anno, ma al massimo per 6 mesi con lo stesso datore di lavoro, una splendida opportunità per i giovani che desiderano apprendere l'inglese e lavorare allo stesso tempo per coprire parte delle spese di soggiorno.

La popolazione di Melbourne è costituita da persone provenienti da tutto il mondo.
Sono rappresentati circa 140 culture, da abitanti originari del Victoria, Indigeni più recenti migranti da Asia e Africa.
Melbourne comprende persone provenienti da Somalia, Corea del Sud, Nuova Zelanda, Malesia, Indonesia, Cina, Regno Unito, Vietnam, Italia, India, Grecia, Giappone e altro ancora.
Alcune di queste nazionalità sono arrivati di recente.
Alcuni sono arrivati per prima nella storia di Melbourne e hanno contribuito significativamente alla crescita della identità della città.
Cinesi
Il loro impatto è evidente in tutta Melbourne, ma può essere particolarmente osservato nelle strade e nei vicoli intorno a Little Bourke Street.
Chinatown di Melbourne, in Australia la più antica, iniziata intorno al 1854-1855 come un cluster di negozi e pensioni in Celestial Avenue.
Oggi il quartiere è una trafficata zona colorata piena di negozi e ristoranti.
Il The Num Pon Soon edificio, costruito nel 1861, è sempre stato un luogo di incontro e sala di culto.
Italiani

Greci
Melbourne si dice che è la terza più grande popolazione di lingua greca del mondo, dopo Atene e Salonicco, città greca sorella di Melbourne.
La migrazione greca in Australia risale al 1827 ma la stragrande maggioranza dei greci sbarcarono tra il 1945 e il 1982.
Precinct greco della città (e dintorni Lonsdale Street, tra Swanston e strade Russell) ha avuto il suo inizio nel 1930 ed oggi è sede di ristoranti greci, caffetterie e pasticcerie, nonché le agenzie di viaggi e negozi di musica.
La zona è anche il punto focale del festival degli antipodi che si tiene ogni anno in marzo.
Vietnamita
Alla caduta di Saigon nel 1975, vi erano solo 1000 persone vietnamiti che vivono in Australia.
Oggi, il cognome vietnamita Nguyen, è il secondo più elencato dopo Smith nella rubrica Melbourne.
Gli immigrati vietnamiti inizialmente erano riuniti intorno a Victoria Street a Abbotsford.

Melbourne's multicultural history
Melbourne's population is made up of people from all over the world. Around 140 cultures are represented, from Victoria's original Indigenous inhabitants to more recent migrants from Asia and Africa. Our community includes people from Somalia, South Korea, New Zealand, Malaysia, Indonesia, China, the United Kingdom, Vietnam, Italy, India, Greece, Japan and more.
Some of these nationalities are recent arrivals. Some came early in Melbourne's history and contributed significantly to the city's growing identity
Chinese
People flocked to Victoria in the 1850s after gold was discovered, including thousands of Chinese migrants.
Their impact is evident throughout Melbourne, but can be particularly seen in the streets and alleys around Little Bourke Street. Melbourne's Chinatown, Australias oldest, began around 1854-55 as a cluster of shops and boarding houses in Celestial Avenue. Today the precinct is a bustling, colourful area packed with shops and restaurants.
Several shops still stock goods similar to that of the earliest stores. The Num Pon Soon building, built in 1861, has always been a meeting place and worship hall. The narrow, three-storey building in Heffernan Lane has been a restaurant since it was built in the 1860s.
Italians
Between the 1920s and 1950s, Carlton was the main destination for immigrant Italians. Today the suburb's proportion of Italian residents is about four per cent, compared with 30 per cent in its heyday.
However, Lygon Street remains a joyous celebration of everything Italian. This popular strip is lined with double-storey Victorian terraces that house dozens of Italian shops, cafes and restaurants. This is the street that introduced an espresso machine to Melbourne in the 1950s, launching the city's famous love affair with coffee.
Another fragment of the local Italian story is found at the public pool in neighbouring Fitzroy where AQUA PROFUNDA is emblazoned in metre-high black letters at the deep end.
Every October, the Lygon Street Festa celebrates the city's Italian heritage. The Festa famously features the Italian waiters race and a spaghetti-eating contest.
Greeks
Melbourne is said to have the third largest Greek-speaking population in the world after Athens and Thessaloniki, Melbournes Greek sister city. Greek migration to Australia dates back to 1827 but the vast majority of Greeks arrived between 1945 and 1982.
The citys Greek Precinct (in and around Lonsdale Street between Swanston and Russell streets) had its beginnings in the 1930s and today is home to Greek restaurants, cafes and cake shops as well as travel agents and music stores. The area is also the focal point of the Festival of the Antipodes which is held every March.
Vietnamese
At the fall of Saigon in 1975, there were only 1000 Vietnamese people living in Australia. Today, the Vietnamese surname, Nguyen, is the second-most listed after Smith in the Melbourne phonebook.
Melbournes Vietnamese migrants initially congregated around Victoria Street in Abbotsford. This once rundown, inner-city working-class shopping strip has been transformed into the bustling and vibrant heart of the Vietnamese community. Some of the citys cheapest and best food is found here and Melburnians flock day and night for enormous bowls of pho (soup), rice paper rolls and noodle dishes.

Mali è il baby elefante dello Zoo di Melbourne nato il 16 Gennaio 2010, è diventata subito la mascotte dello Zoo,lo Zoo di Melbourne è una delle mete turistiche più popolari nello stato del Victoria che attrae circa un milione di visitatori tutto l'anno,inserisco le mie foto scattate a febbraio 2010 nella mia visita per poterlo vedere, è stata una bella esperienza ed era cosi piccolo da non tenersi in piedi, cadeva e si rialzava e si nascondeva sotto la mamma elefante,in questa pagina dedicata al baby Mali parliamo di animali tipici australiani...Enjoy Australia..
Mali is the Melbourne Zoo's baby elephant born January 16, 2010, quickly became the mascot of the Zoo, Melbourne Zoo is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the state of Victoria which attracts a million visitors throughout the year,i post my photos taken in February 2010 during my visit to see him, it was a great experience and it was so small as to not stand up, fall and get up and hid under mother elephant.

La parte più favolosa è stata forse quella del viaggio, sarà perchè a me piace volare!
Dall'aereo ho visto la conformazione geografica di Oceania, Asia ed Europa perfetta come negli atlanti!
E ovviamente la scia di stelle della Via Lattea.
Quella è stata super!
L'avevo vista anche nel quartiere di Virginia ad Adelaide..ero in campagna, non c'erano lampioni ne altre luci che potessero intralciare la vista.. erano stupende!
Illuminavano tutto il South Australia!
Ed è questa l'atmosfera che a parola vale la metà di quello che trasmette quando la si vive.. il cielo sembra essere parte della terra, lo stesso vale per Sole e Luna che sono immensi! Anche i colori sono particolari.. sembrano modificati e stampati al pc.. nonostante io sia andata nel periodo invernale che non rende al massimo la bellezza dei posti..
Ci sono distese enormi di prati con pietre nella zona del Murray River con colori che vanno dal grigio delle pietre al marrone della terra al verde dei boschetti e al viola di qualche fiore qua e là!
Mmm
questo è tutto per quanto riguarda l'aspetto ''fisico'' dell'Australia!
I suoi componenti siamo noi, che la viviamo nei nostri viaggi, e le persone che vi abitano.. quasi tutti italiani ad Adelaide!
