Stand & Stare Collective.
The Stand & Stare Collective orchestrate artistic and theatrical happenings, often in unconventional settings, that seek, through whichever art forms work best, to surprise, delight and entertain.
Formed as a consequence of Stand and Stare, the Feb 09 show, the Collective look for opportunities to undo tradition and sew it back together in brave new ways. This includes our working practice, which involves demonstration of ideas rather than explanation, an ethos of doing rather than talking that permeates through every aspect of what we do. Our audiences, in turn, are invited to explore and make their own adventures, rather than being conventionally passive spectators.
The core team, who work in creative partnership and on the production of events, are:
