This site was created as a point of reference for producers, models, artists, and anybody who is interested in my work. Based in Los Angeles, Barclay is available for photography in film, fashion, print and product. Prints of previous projects are also available.

Ultra Violent is a series of original photographic prints from Barclay Wright. The images are by definition unmanipulated, as they are all single exposures, with minor cropping and some common adjustments. The vivid colours and style are the result of building custom ultra violet lights, shooting entirely with that light source, and using ultra violet paint for make-up in Jackson Pollock-style doses.

Biography
Barclay Wright is an English artist, based in Los Angeles. Working out of a Spaceflea Studios on La Brea, he started creating his style using colour, light and sometimes paint.
Often collaborating with talented individuals, Barclay enjoys devising something unique and original, with input from all artists. Out of the studio, you will find him shooting stills on film sets, concerts, around LA and in the wilderness. He is currently working on his next series of prints.
My philosophy
I find the true magic happens during collaboration. The sum of all parties is greater than their individual worth. I strive to be as creative as possible in all aspects of my photography.
