Life:
I am all about being laid back and seeing what life can give me. Ambition is one of the most important values in my life, but I am not ambitious to the point of letting actions take over my life rather than enjoying what I'm given.
I love my family, basketball, god, history and of course photography.
Photography:
Photography is a way to be calmed and express yourself. Being behind the lens makes me feel like I am part of the world, not just another player in the game of life.
I am good at making things simple, simple lines, spartan compositions. I'm not good at posing though, and I still need to hone my skills in all facets of the art.
Photography for me is all about fun; it isn't about being the best, it's about being satisfied with yourself.
I love macro and landscape photography, but portraiture also takes up a big portion of my behind-the-lens time. Jumping spiders are one of my favorite subjects, they have great personality and are good photo subjects.
Goals:
I want to become a college history teacher, but photography is something that I want to play into that as well. I would love to be able to use my job to travel and take photos of exotic places.
