They make house music without boundaries on their computers, they play house music without boundaries in clubs.Steven and Laurent (ULTRAVID) will soon launch their own record label: Silverback Recordings! They discribe their sound as "happy house", but because beats say more than a thousand words, they introduce their label with a mix in Switch.
On the 13th of March they celebrated the start of Silverback Recordings with a party in Gent, with Charlie Glitch, Maddjazz, Voltron and of course Ultravid! That weekend their first EP 'Clan of wow' came out, with remixes of Kingdom en Maddjazz.

He was born in the late seventies and was raised by his mom has a great taste in music.
Lots of soul & funk played at the house or in his mothers bar, downstairs.
At the age of 11 I started using a turntable and a mixer and soon he got the hang of it.
He started mixing on saturday evenings at the cafe and with the money he got from visitors, he started shopping for vinyl. Mostly 7"! As the years passed my interest in Hip-Hop and R&B music grew and when I got my first REAL turntables I started beat-mixing.
When the urban music got more popular and there was a lack of quality DJ's in Belgium at that time, he got his shot in a local bar and from one thing came the other. Over 7 years he get booked all over Belgium and beyond, several times a week and still loving it.
Besides the DJ-ing part he's also developping as a producer. And in the process of expanding his horizons it's not only the "urban" scene he's interested in... So watch out for more to come.

Starting off as two students from Ghent playing some sets in their spare time, has developed into a duo that makes dj-sets a piece of art. Describing their style isn't that straightforward. A sensible composition of electronic music, long forgotten tracks and home-made mashups/edits/remixes is roughtly the closest you can get.

WHO ARE WE is a Ghent-based DJ duo with a passion for solid electronic beats.
Despite their short existence, WAW has already begun to crash the scene in and around Ghent, with notable appearances at Make Up Club, Culture Club, Decadance
WAW recently gained notoriety thanks to their smashing remix of Dada Life's 'Happy Hands & Happy Feet' (check this one!) which was a big hit on blogs all over the world!
To this day, they have played next to Congorock, Chewy Chocolate Cookies, Joakim and many others, so keep an eye on these guys!

Headz' Up:
Headz'Up, Jef (19) & Ohmid (20),is a dj-duo from Ghent. In their short existance they have developed a music taste that ranges from bleepy raving electro to classics, blended with some inspiring house and techno music. In this short period they have made their first steps into Ghent's nightlife scene by playing at the biggest clubs in town (Culture Club, Make up Club, Decadance,..).

He's much more than a man, he's ManyMoreMan.
It al started in 2004 when Lothar created his own techno-music
with his friend. The band called 'Antaronic'.
They made minimal techno music just for fun,
but it improved their feeling with the music.
In 2005 the real dj'ing begun.
He collected all sorts of music in order to develop his own style.
The fascination for the music became bigger
and the experience grew 'caus of the private parties.
It was time for some evolution. His old dj-name "dj ldk" was switched by "ManyMoreMan".
Ghent is his resident city.

It's so much fun and it's lovely when people offer an upcoming dj, the opportunity to grow.

Say What??? started about a year ago. The original name was 'Gigi&Toiny' but later they decided to change it to 'Say What???' Within this short period they wanted to set a different trend in this times of electro and rave. With a blend of house music, techno and some slices of minimal they try to make a move on everybody with a passion of house music.
Classy beats who tell a big story is what we like. With performances next to Buscemi and Maxim Lany and gigs at Culture Club, Make-Up Club and Kokorico, Gilles and Anthony experienced the real things!
'R.U.Ben?:
Don't let the question marks fool you. When it comes to 'R.U.Ben? you'd better be careful to not be blown out. Assisted by his MC Nicolas they both set fire on the dj set. Only the best, the newer and the most overwhelming music is played, and they are played in ways not known by anyone.

Ter hoogte van de verkeerswisselaar te Zwijnaarde tussen afritten 15 en 16 neemt U de E17 richting Antwerpen.
VANUIT ANTWERPEN / KORTRIJK
E17 richting Gent.
Aan de verkeerswisselaar tussen afritten 10 en 11 neemt U de R4 richting "Gent-Zeehaven".
Ter hoogte van de T-kruising met de John Kennedylaan (afrit 1) slaat U links af, richting Gent.
U rijdt doorheen een tunnel tot aan de eerstvolgende rotonde, waar U rechts afslaat in de Port-Arthurlaan.
U volgt deze hoofdweg tot net voorbij de Meulestedebrug. U moet de Wiedauwkaai kruisen en pas de volgende straat links afslaan, om dan weer links en vervolgens rechts de Wiedauwkaai weer op te rijden.
Het Galveston-complex ligt ongeveer 1,5 km verderop, voorbij de grote bocht op de Wiedauwkaai. Volg de lange oprit tot het einde. ArtCube grenst aan de grote parking aan de linkerzijde.
Met de trein
ArtCube is beriekbaar via het station Gent-Sint-Pieters of Gent-Dampoort. Daar heeft u verbinding met alle steden in België en met de stations Brussel-Zuid en Antwerpen-Centraal, waar de hogesnelheidstreinen vertrekken.

Vanaf het Treinstation Gent-Dampoort
Bus 3 richting Mariakerke tot aan Gent Steendam.
Daar stapt u over (7 min wandelen) op bus 5 richting Gent Van Beverenplein of bus 58 richting Brugge Station.
U stapt af aan de Wiedauwkaai.
Vanaf het Treinstation Gent-Sint-Pieters
Optie 1:
Tram 4 richting Moskou tot aan de Tolpoort.
Daar stapt u over (5 min wandelen) op bus 5 richting Gent Van Beverenplein.
Optie 2:
Neem bus 55 richting Zelzate Busstation tot aan Gent Tolhuisbrug. De Wiedauwkaai ligt hier op een afstand van 10 min wandelen.
