Service Cut Update: Recent information surrounding possible transit service reductions. The information relayed to ATU 615 is that Council will be determining what if any service may or may not be reduced or eliminated. Transit management defined to council possible areas of budget trimming, but no decisions have as of yet been officially relayed to ATU. We have been informed that not only transit, but all civic department operations are under review. There has been no official hiring freeze instituted or notification of layoffs.
