Meet Ms. Tracy
Ms. Tracy is the librarian, or school media specialist, at Central Boulevard School. Media is another name for books, magazines, pictures, music, videos, computer programs, websites, databases. Most modern libraries today feature more than just books.
Ms. Tracy comes from a large family and has always been surrounded with children. She teaches all the children in the school and really gets to know them as they grow from timid kindergarteners to confident fifth-graders.
She has a master's degree in English, with a specialty in Irish folklore and a second master's degree in library and information science. She is an avid photographer and traveler and has taken pictures in Nova Scotia, Iceland, England, Ireland, France, New Mexico, Alaska, and other picturesque places.
Research Research
Classes research various topics across the curriculum, using encyclopedias and other resources.
Students use the computer to access databases and websites.
