Company History
Ah-jhi-Leigh is formerly BluePrint Weddings and Events. We have been in the wedding business since February 2002. We are members of the Association of Bridal Consultants, AAWP and The Wedding Planning Institute. In 2005 as an effort to aid those brides affected by Hurricanes Katrina and Rita we offered our services pro bono to more than 20 brides! Our determination led us to becoming one of the most successful wedding management firms in SWLA!

At Assila' {ah-jhi-leigh} Wedding Company our primary concern is your wedding vision. We know that every wedding is different and each bride has her own unique interpretation of what the perfect wedding is...
Our goal is to make sure that we implement that vision into every element of your wedding details.

Tip of the Month
When interviewing wedding vendors for your wedding do not be afraid to ask for discounts if applicable.
For example: If you plan to have children at your wedding ask the caterer for a discounted price for kids' menu items. The portions are smaller and the caterer may be able to accommodate you with a substantial discount! The price per head for child guests can save you tons of money on the catering budget!

Wedding Planning Basics
Always start your planning with two things: a wedding budget and a wedding planner! You will see how both can save you time, money and eliminate stress. The more constraints you have on your time, money and bridal resources the more likely your need of a professional wedding planner is. Do not be afraid to delegate your plans to a professional, after all you only plan to do this once and you want to be sure not to leave anything to chance!
