BIOGRAPHY
Asif Ali is a handpicked favorite from some of the top comedy bookers & casting directors working today. From his standup in the U.S. and internationally, to many outstanding acting roles, he is one of the fastest rising entertainers in Los Angeles.
Leaving Phoenix to hit the Chicago improv & comedy scene, Asif Ali honed his craft until he was ready for Los Angeles. His trademark stage personality and storytelling has been featured on HBO Ziddio 21, Comedy Central Open Mic, FOX Comedy Showcase, NBC Standup For Diversity, multiple festivals, and over 100+ college/universities in 12 countries. A major South African tour has been planned where Asif will co-headline with others sponsored by Emirates Airlines.
When not on stage, Asif Ali continues to excel on the acting front. Not only did his improv troupe, Business Drinks, headline an impressive 5 peat win at IO West, he on to act in the 2011 CBS Diversity Showcase. Asif Ali hopes to add to his experience list after booking NBC Brave New World (pilot), Disney Drive (pilot), a guest starring role on CBS Young & Restless, and 2 indie films. With all that in one year, he cannot wait for the coming year!
