While photographing people is my passion, I also like to capture places and things with my camera lenses. Whether I am traveling or wandering through my beloved city of Chicago, you will often find me with camera in hand.

About My Photo Philosophy: Life isn't static.My undergrad degree is in journalism, so my preference is toward a more journalistic photo style. In other words, I try not to pose people. I'd rather you be yourself, and I don't think anyone can be themself while being asked to tilt their head 45 degrees and smile. That's not natural. What is natural is your and your family interacting like you always do: smiling, laughing, running, talking, hugging, playing. Great photos don't happen when you are sitting in a studio. Great photos happen when you are out doing the things you like to do. Life isn't static, and your photos shouldn't be either. So that's why when you email me about scheduling a shoot, I am more likely to ask you what you want to do than where you want to go. Your Shoot: What you get for the money

All photo packages are customized for each individual shoot. I work with all my clients to ensure we share a similar vision for their session. Contact me today to book your family photos, newborn portraits, maternity session, party, engagement, wedding or any other event - big or small. My Thank You to YouI don't do any formal advertising, so I really appreciate your word of mouth. As a thank you, I currently am offering discounts to anyone who refers their family or friends to me. If someone you know books a session with me based on your referral, mention it and receive $50 off your next shoot.Photo Sessions Portrait packages begin at $150 for one person with $25 for each additional person (family of three = $200). Package prices increase based on additional people, locations and travel outside Chicago city limits. I won't limit the time of your session, but I find most shoots (especially with young kids) do not last longer than two hours. Each photo session includes:- One Chicago location of your choosing- 24 high resolution digital images of your choosing in both color and black and white- Low resolution, watermarked images of your selected photos, perfect for uploading to blogs or Facebook (by request)- An online preview of your session to share with friends and familyPrints can be purchased through my print site. Choose a Year in the Life package and you'll get four shoots in one year for the price of three (total for a family of three is $600). If you want to document your child's first year, use this package to book a maternity shoot, newborn portraits, six-month-old session and one year photos. Or maybe you want to capture your family in every season. Spring, summer, fall and winter are all occasions to celebrate.Each photo session includes:- One Chicago location of your choosing- 24 high resolution digital images of your choosing in both color and black and white- Low resolution, watermarked images of your 24 selected photos, perfect for uploading to blogs or Facebook (by request)- An online preview of your session to share with friends and familyAdditionally, at the end of your year, I'll work with you to design a custom album of your photos, creating in a sense, the story or your year. Album prices are a la carte. Events and WeddingsEvent coverage and weddings begin at $200 per hour and includes travel inside Chicago city limits. There will be an additional charge for events taking place outside of Chicago.
