Emily Wilson graduated from Western Michigan University with a teaching certificate in both Special Education and Art Education. After a wonderful seven years of teaching Emily decided to follow her dream and become a illustrator.
Emily grew up in Traverse City Michigan and attended Traverse City Central High School. In 1996, she was awarded Art Student of the Year and received an Art Scholarship for her college endeavors. Since graduation, her illustrations were published in a auto-biography by Karen Wells entitled Blessed Tragedy, Northwestern Michigan College Art Magazine, as well as numerous art assignments across the United States. Currently, Emily lives in Holland Michigan with her husband and sons.
