I was born in Austin, Texas but have lived all over Texas, Colorado and for awhile in Canada when very young. I attended the University of North Texas in Denton where I majored in Advertising Art with a minor in Studio Art. I would say my greatest art influences have come from M.C. Escher, Salvador Dali, Alex Grey, and the great Renaissance artists (Botticelli, Michelangelo, Donatello to name a few). My projects lately have become studies in detailed line work using primarily ink and then enhancing/embellishing more with Adobe Photoshop or oil-based colored pencils.
