Students from 3-Dimensional Design and Art 1,2 &3 classes
Perspective was used to create images in the style of Al Held by Art 2 students.
22x30" Done by Art 2 student
The following 3 slides are drawings/paintings of a flower in watercolor, chalk pastel & charcoal. By an Art 1 student.
Mandalas completed by Art 2 students on textured paper with charcoal and colored pencil.
This project dyed on a silk stretched ring.
24x24" silk scarves stretched and dyed. (Students also helped to put together the stretcher bars)
Acrylic paint using shades and tints to create a 3-dimensional illusion. Also incorporates symmetry.
Study of Islamic symmetry and organic designs painted onto 4x4" terra cotta tiles and then spray glazed.
Students create an illuminated initial design and write a sentence in calligraphy.
