At St. Augustine Youth Ministry you belong. We encourage to deep relationships with fellow christians based on encouragement, acceptance, and accountability!
St. Augustine Youth Ministry is a place where students can come to know God, love God & serve God with their lives. In all things, we strive to help our young people develop a deep and abiding relationship with Jesus.
You’ll find that our youth group is very active. There is always an event or activity that is designed to encourage you in youth in their walk with God.
We hope you will come & join us as we discover what it means to be a teenager that seeks after God.
St. Augustine church of Christ Youth exists to care for all teenagers in order to expose them to a dynamic relationship with God, teach then reliance upon His word, inspire devoted life to Christ, and equip them for works of ministry!
Anthony Ray
Anthony Ray serves as the Associate Minister at the St. Augustine church of Christ. In 2008 he graduated from Freed-Hardeman University, and began working with our congregation. He is husband to his beautiful wife, Sandi. Together, they have two awesome chihuahuas! Anthony is an Ohio native and loves rooting for his Buckeyes! He is very passionate about youth ministry and seeks daily to know God and to make Him known.

I am so glad you have an interest in becoming a part of our ministry team. As you will see, we have a variety of service opportunities available to those wishing to impact the lives of teenagers for Jesus Christ. We believe youth ministry is about helping teenagers find Jesus, assisting families in equipping teenagers for life and eternity, and helping teenagers find their place in the overall body of believers.
We believe that our purpose as a ministry can only be accomplished through a strong partnership between adult volunteers, parents, and myself. This partnership requires each person to commit to deepening their relationship with Christ and teenagers. Therefore, before completing this volunteer packet, prayerfully consider your own commitment to Christ and to the teenagers and families to which we minister.

First, I would like to start by saying, "Thank You!" Without you and your commitment to your teenager, there would not be a youth ministry here at St. Augustine. The countless hours that you dedicate to your family and your teenager are priceless. You are the most important individuals in all aspects for your child’s growth, especially their spiritual growth. And I cannot pretend, for a minute, that I know what it is like to raise a child. And there is no doubt a lot about raising teenagers that I will be able to learn from you. However, from time to time, there may be the occasion where I can help you in some way and I want to emphasize that I am available to you if you need a resource, a suggestion, or just need to talk. I am here for you as you raise, teach, and lead your children in the way they should go!
