When we practice good Hispanic marketing, we create and nurture good relationships with consumers . Hispanic marketing is about providing a good service or product to US Hispanics and building companies that are responsible for enhancing the lives of their consumers.

WHAT MAKES ME HISPANIC
I am Hispanic because I say so. I was born in Caracas, Venezuela but came to the US when I was one year old and was raised in a bicultural setting. I lived half of my childhood in the United States and the other half in Venezuela. At 26 years of age, I decided to return to the US and went back to colIege to pursue a degree in Communications. In December 2006, I graduated Cum Laude and as Outstanding Senior of the Year with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications at the University of South Carolina Aiken. In January 2007, I started a Masters of Arts degree in Integrated Marketing Communication at Florida State University as well as a Graduate Certificate in Hispanic Marketing Communication.
As I learned the ropes at FSU, I started to get involved with the Center for Hispanic Marketing Communication. I am currently a Ph.D. student and work as an undergraduate instructor teaching Hispanic Marketing Communication. I amd also a Program Assistant for the Center and in my free time I enjoy exploring new sushi restaurants with friends, watching movies on the big screen, listening to Spanish rock, reading English and Spanish books, and just having a good time.

My mother has been always my biggest fan and my biggest hero. I have, however, been very lucky and to meet very interesting people in my life who keep me grounded, serve as a sounding board, and help me run with my crazy ideas. My life would not t me the same without them. Meet my heroes:

MY TEACHERS
I have been lucky to work with two of the pioneers of this fascinating field, Dr. Felipe Korzenny and Dr. Betty Ann Korzenny. I am constantly inspired by my students and their interesting questions. And being part of FSU Center for Hispanic Marketing Communicationhas allowed me to help other students while applying my knowledge to new challenges.
