Inquisitive:
Asking questions and exploring possible solutions comes naturally to me. The search for answers using a variety of sources is what I love most about my major, History.
As an intern for the Independence National Historical Park, my ability to turn abstract questions into realistic research goals was essential.
Efficient:
Though I love to be confronted with opportunities to research, I am a highly efficient worker.
There is no work experience in which I have not benefitted from efficient work habits.
Inspired:
"Ann's enthusiasm and love of history never fails to be evident in classroom discussions, research papers, or individual conversations. I have seen Ann's ability to inspire and motivate other students, myself included, to reach above and beyond the parameters of the usual classroom experience and become entirely invested in discussion or outside projects. The magnetism and sincerity with which Ann naturally goes through life makes her an ideal leader and an unparalleled friend."
-L. Swift, 2010.
History major at Earlham College.
Organized:
Organizing ideas and goals was essential to writing the exhibit script for the First Bank of the United States during my time interning at the Independence National Historical Park.
