I enjoy drawing and painting in my spare time and recently started drawing pets for my friends and family. I have also begun to do some paintings of some of the animals and wildlife I have encountered on my travels. Here is a bit of info about me...
I have always enjoyed drawing and painting, and completed an Art Foundation course at Mid-Warwickshire College in 2004 after doing my A Levels at school. After a year out doing a bit of work in a bookshop and an Italian course in Venice, I went on to do a degree in Art History at Goldsmiths in London, graduating in 2008. This was followed by a few months travelling (and trying to decide what to do next!) I started my pet portraits whilst looking for a job in London, and have now been working with young children in nurseries since April 2009. I have continued to work on my art in my spare time. I also enjoy taking photographs wherever I go, as well as taking the family dogs for country walks and looking after my very moody cat! I recently moved back to my hometown of Warwick where I live with my boyfriend, Dave, who teaches the bass guitar and plays in the band 'Ro Sham Bo' - check them out at www.myspace.com/roshambotheband - they are very good!!
Portrait Commissions
I take commissions for animal portraits.
Portrait Prices:
A5 - £30
A4 - £40
A3 - £70
A2 - £100
Please add an extra £10 for each additional subject, and allow at least two weeks for completion. Photographs of your pet should ideally be close-up head shots with good lighting on the subject. Please contact me for further information and to discuss your portrait needs. Portraits are available in graphite or acrylic paint.
