Raised in amusical family, she received her B.A. in Piano Performance and Pedagogy at Bethel College. She abtained her degree in three years as well as a minor in Saxophone Performance. Angie then received her her Master's Degree in Piano Performance and Composition from Western Michigan University. At Western Michigan University, Angie also worked as a graduate assistant in instruction and evaluation of four levels of group piano study for undergraduate music majors and minors. Teaching over 200 students including 35 peers, she was awarded a scholarship as a graduate assistant and also the "Graduate Certificate of Achievement of Excellence in Teaching". Throughout Angie's musical career, she has been always active in hercommunity by teaching privately, playing for weddings, receptions, churchservices, and banquets as well as accompanying local choirs, vocalists, andinstrumentalists. She has also performed many solo piano recitals and other musical performances including Carnegie Hall. Angie has received education scholarships from many organizations as well as honors from The National Federation of Music Clubs, and awards for composition from The Science Arts Expo of Michigan. In 2000 she released her first CD entitled "Manifest," a compilation of original pianoand vocal music. 2007 marked the release of Angies second CD "Eternal Moment" which explores a varity of musical motifs and genres.
