International Mambo Team - Director Angel Ortiz
(Performance at the 2nd World Salsa Congress 1998, Puerto Rico)
Angel began his salsa/mambo training "On2" in New York City with Eddie Torres in 1989. He then served six years (1990-1996) as a principle dancer with the Eddie Torres Dance Company. It was in 1995 that Eddie Torres created the "Eddie Torres teaches Nightclub Style" instructional video. Angel is a featured dancer in this 2 volume instructional produced in 1995 and distributed in 1996. Originally done in VHS format, it is now available on DVD. To date, it's the only DVD Eddie Torres has published....a collectors edition!
Angel believes you can never stop learning. Even today, Angel continues to take classes with Eddie Torres in New York City.
