Andre Michael Photography began in 1995, and is based out of Charlotte, North Carolina.
I am the Owner and founder of Andre Michael Photography, I have been in the profession of photography for the past 12 years and my experiences range throughout a variety of genres from abstract to portrait styles.
My passion for incredible imagery is complimented by my creativity and incredible attention to detail. Treating each photograph as a work of art, I work hard to set the stage for outstanding photographs.
While I realize that each shoot is different and unique, the overall goal for Andre Michael Photography is to produce quality works of art and provide exceptional customer service, all while maintaining the highest standards for each and every photography experience.

Photography rental studio situated in downtown Charlotte, NC, a creative space for those working in the fine arts, media, fashion, film and broadcasting industries.
Andre Michael Studio provides you and your clients with a comfortable, friendly and professional working environment. The studio offers 2000 square feet of working space with everything you need for a successful shoot.
What We Offer
There are 2 shooting areas included: 12 ft. x 25 ft. (white brick wall) and 12 ft. x 25 ft. (black brick wall) of shooting space with hardwood flooring. Each space is outfitted with a motorized backdrop system with many different seamless color paper rolls for your different needs.
Both shooting areas are connected and rented together as one, although each area can be separated by a black curtain. In addition there are 7 unique colorful wall areas where you can build your own sets.
There are many living room props with top of the line modern furnishings and a bedroom set that can be modified according to your taste.
Production Lounge, Spacious hair and make up work stations, Plasma TV, loading dock, ipod/CD/digital cable audio system, dressing room with a steamer, iron, ironing board, hangers, rolling racks, full-length mirrors, microwave, coffeemaker, refrigerator, editing station (CS4, LightRoom) client production area, reception area, fax machine, HP 7800 Large format printer.
Rates
You may rent the studio any 7 days of the week and any hours you may need. We will have an employee their at all times if you need anything. You must also leave the studio as you found it. You should stop your photo shoot 15 minutes before your time is up to make sure all equipment is put back as you have found it.
Monday Thursday 9.30am 9:30pm $25hr
Friday Sunday 9:30am 9:30pm $40hr
2 hour minimum required.
Overtime is billed at 1.5x the hourly pro-rated amount.

FILE FORMAT:
We accept the following file formats TIF, TIFF, JPG, EPS, PNG, AI, PSD, and PDF.
FILE SIZE:
The maximum file size acceptable for upload is 30MB (megabytes) per file.
RESOLUTION:
All file formats must have a minimum of 350 dpi (dot per inch) resolution.
COLOR MODE:
All color artwork and/or images must be provided in CMYK (cyan, magenta, yellow, black) color mode.
All black & white artworks and/or images must be provided in grayscale color mode.
Heavy black ink might cause smearing.
BLEED:
What's a bleed?
Bleed is the portion of the product that will be trimmed off when it is cut to the final size.
Why bleed?
The purpose of a bleed is to continue a color, image, or design to the edge of the product. Due to the possibility of shifting in the trimming process, a bleed is required to ensure that a white line does not show on the edges of your product.
We require ALL files to be built to the full bleed dimension specified for each trim size.
We automatically trim the bleed off of each side, which will result in the desired trim size.
For example: business cards require a 0.1" bleed to each dimension (or 0.05" bleed on all four sides). Thus, a 2" x 3.5" business card would have a bleed size 2.1" x 3.6".
FONTS:
a. Fonts must be embedded in PDF files.
b. Fonts must be outlined or converted to paths or curves in EPS files.
c. Some fonts have copyright restrictions and will not embed in PDF Files.
d. Quark Express: Fonts and images must be included with all files submitted. (Mac only)
SAFE ZONE:
All critical elements (text, images, logos, etc.) must be kept at least 0.125" inside the edge. Anything left close to edge may be cut off during trimming.
BORDERS:
Please allow 1/16" cutting space around your card. No borders are recommended, as shifting in the cutting process may make borders appear uneven.
BUSINESS CARDS, POSTCARDS, CLUB FLYERS, POSTERS
2-5 business days after approval.
CD, DVD PACKAGES:
5-10 business days after approval.
SIGNAGE/BANNER:
4-7 business days after approval.
CUSTOM DESIGN - [business card, postcard, flyer, brochure]:
2-4 business days.
Please allow one day for receipt of labeling and billing information before counting turnaround time for shipping from UPS. For example, if you are quoted a shipping time of 3 business days from February 3rd, please allow the first day for Andre Michael Printing to relay your information and for UPS to pick up, and the following 3 business days/non-holidays for your shipment to arrive.
We would like to inform you that during the holiday season we will be extending our turnaround time by an additional 2 business days due to our high volume. We will not be able to accept any rush orders or make any deadlines.
