Our Speciality for more than 4 years now is that of importing JDM stock direct from Japan to meet customer specific requirements.
Buying a JDM should not be taken lightly, you want to ensure your hard earned money has gone towards the right car, at the right price in the sort of condition you expect and to the specification you demand. Finding the right combonation of these factors in the UK market can be difficult to say the least. This is where we can assist.
Over the past 6 years we have imported over 300 JDM cars direct from Tokyo, Japan to Newcastle Upon Tyne, UK and re-distributed those cars to happy customers not only in the UK but to Europe, USA and beyond.

All Shipping, Customs handling and UK registration Costs 6 Months Road Tax, 12 months MOT Full Service from 200bhp and a newly stamped UK servicebook All cars are fully waxoiled undersealed to protect them from the Harsh UK winters SVA Preperation and Testing done depending on the car which would include a Cat1 Alarm System for cars under 10yrs old. We can supply a wide range of oem and aftermarket parts direct from our UK suppliers or imported across from Japan to order.
We also have 2nd hand parts available at various times depending upon what is in stock.
As of April 2011 we havent yet set up our online shop but this will be coming soon.

1. The Paperwork
The SVA has a set requirement for paperwork which can feel quite demanding. We will take care of this all the way thru to you recieving your UK V5.
We have been importing SVA Required Vehciles from JAPAN for the past 7 years now and have aquired alot of valuable experience in what goes and what doesnt with regards to the SVA. Our vehicles allways pass 1st time and we are expert with the most up to date requirements to get your car through mandatory SVA Type Approval testing super quick and at minimum cost.
SVA (which has now become IVA from 2009) is required on all vehicles importeted from Japan which at the time of UK registration are less than 10 years old, currently than means that all 2001 and younger cars imported including most of the DC5's and of course the FD2's require a IVA to become road legal.
This is not a simple process and requires new headlights at the time of the test as well as a deadly accurate mph speedo conversion, a UK spec Fog light fitted, a suitable thatcham approved Category 1 Alarm with the correct Paperwork/certificate as well as a whole host of other criteria.
If your deciding to Import a car with us then you need not worry, all SVA/IVA requirements are taken care of as part of our service, however if youve found us in a position where you need your personally imported JDM car SVA'd then we can assist you. With the Paperwork, The Preperation, the testing and then the De-prep to make sure your car remains as JDM as possible.

The SVA is very strict. we will make sure your car is 100% to the required standard for a quick and easy pass....
3. VOSA Testing
The SVA is a 2+ Hr Test designed to evaluate all build aspects of the Import and compare against UK regulations. We must acompany the vehicle at all times and actively assist in the test.

Honda Civic Type-R
FD2
The much anticipated all New CIVC TYPE R was made for sale in the JDM market back in March 2007.
The JDM market hadnt seen a new civic since the Ek9 so this really was a huge change, 1stly the Size. The FD2 is a large 4 door Saloon, apparantly giving 50% more ridgity for better cornering and handling -this showed round the famous Suzuka Circuit in Japan where the FD2 was a clear 4 seconds faster than the 2006 Honda Integra DC5.
Producing 220bhp and only 2kg heavier than the DC5 the FD2 is vicious on VTEC.
In 2008 Honda opened their doors to Mugen to produce a limited run of 300 RED RR badged 240bhp FD2's, lots of small changes included aliminium panels, carbon underside, carbon backed racing seats, larger brakes, reworked Ecu, manifold and camshafts and a twin exit mugen exhuast for more power. As far as we know only 1 Mugen RR was ever brought to the UK. It now resides with a local enthusiast to us, Sold by 200bhpcars in 2009.

"After being in the Honda scene for a number of years and viewing a lot of cars imported by Andy on the popular forums/owners clubs .There was only one man to import me my ek9 to the high standard I was after.I viewed a few import centres and there stock cars were just not up to scratch so I wanted a personal service and a car specifically chosen for me, not imported at a lower grade/standard just to maximise profit Throughout the whole process Andy kept me feeling at ease and informed with the selection of cars at auction and narrowing them down with his agents strict selection A match was found with pictures mailed across from the auction house and approval from the guys in Japan I picked my car up at the end of march all prepared under sealed and serviced with all the history filed .The car was just what I was after ,stunning for a 1998 ,the bodywork and mainly the engine bay which I requested had to be “flawless “ was just like new .I will definitely be using Andy again for my next Honda in the future and would recommend him to anyone after a mint import with customer service to match" Mark North Yorkshire
