Alon Krausz is the Founder and President of the Jewish Outdoors Club, a 2300 member non-profit founded in 1996. While his passion involves everything outdoors, his particular expertise is canyoneering, having taken a number of courses, and having spend countless weeks exploring the hidden slot canyons of the Southwest over the last five years. When not travelling, Alon is the chair of the Mathematics Department at SAR High School, where he also serves as the faculty advisor for the SAR Outdoors Society. Alon lives in Teaneck with his wife and three children.
