The Peres Center for Peace, in partnership with Local Testimony, is proud to announce the launching of a new project, "Frames of Reality" - a unique endeavor for Palestinian and Israeli photographers. Within the framework of the workshop, lectures and discussions will be held by both Israeli and Palestinian participants as well as guest lecturers (Israeli, Palestinian and International) who are professional experts in the field of social photography and visual culture Objective To enhance the professional skills of the photographers with innovative developments, recently introduced into the field; to encourage the formation of both personal and professional ties between Israeli and Palestinian photojournalists; and to give participants the opportunity to present a reality which is not depicted in conventional, popular news sources.
