Amir Ebrahimi
Amir Ebrahimi's career has wound through paths of photography, filmmaking, Set Design, Directing and back to photography.
Amir comes from a family of photographers and has been taking pictures since the age of 15. Amir studied film making at the Art Instituted of San Francisco, then at Brooklyn College in New York, after a series of short films and Documentaries Amir stumbled into Set Design for some of the biggest photographers in the industry such as Steven Meisel, Mario Sorrenti , Mario Testino and Steven Klien to name a few. Amir also worked on location in Mexico for the film Nacho Libre along side famed Designer Gideon Ponte.
All these experiences drove Amir Ebrahimi back to his passion for photography. After a 2006 trip to Cambodia to document Orphans in Phnom Phen, Amir focused his creative attention to Photography.
Whether shooting Orphans in Cambodia, Questlove from the Roots, or models Amir Ebrahimi has a true eye for beauty. Amir's portrait/fashion photography is able to capture the soul behind the outer beauty, and his documentary work is truthfully beautiful. Amir's photography has a story telling ability that expresses his passion for motion picture.
