Brian Griswold, LGPC
Brian Griswold comes to Safe Harbor Christian Counseling with 24 years of pastoral experience. Loyola's strong clinical emphasis gives him the opportunity to integrate his spiritual and theological understanding with his work as a Therapist.
Brian’'s areas of focus are: Sexual addiction, anxiety, anger management, relationship issues, couples counseling, clergy issues, ADHD, and parenting.
As a Cognitive Behavioral Therapist, his goal is helping you see a hope and a future that is worth living by uncovering the lies that have ruled your behavior and thinking, and replacing them with the truth. While we cannot change difficult situations of the past, we can work together to repair relationships, dysfunctional thinking, and broken ways of living in the present.
In April 2011, Brian will begin an ongoing open men's group for sexual addiction. See the Sexual Addiction Track for details and registration.

Selena Eldridge, MS, Christian Life Coach
Selena Eldridge has an MS in Clinical Community Counseling, and she works as a Christian Life Coach. Selena is also the director of Safe Harbor Christian Counseling of Anne Arundel County. Selena works with adolescents and adults of all ages, doing individual, marital and family counseling. Selena specializes in chronic illness, addictions and high risk behavior work; including child abuse/trauma, cutting/self-mutilation, anger/stress management, depression/anxiety, co-dependency, and panic attacks/phobias. Selena typically works with people who have been deeply wounded on emotional, spiritual and physical levels. Selena's capacity for empathy, her extensive clinical training and her relationship skills serve as an excellent tool in God's hands.
Selena believes that at the root of all our physical and emotional wounds lies a spiritual need; because of this belief, Selena's perspective (through obedience and the power of God) is filtered through the Word of God and the person of Christ, so that she may rely on God's wisdom and guidance. Selena believes that lives can be changed. Selena's mission statement is represented best scripturally by Isaiah 61:1-4 where Isaiah speaks of anointing from the Lord, release from darkness for the prisoners through the "Good News" and the restoration powers of God. By sharing these biblical truths and spiritual principles, and through the application of clinical skills and practical tools, Selena looks forward to facilitating the transformation that God so desires for our lives.
Selena received her BA in psychology from Towson University and her MS in clinical community counseling from Johns Hopkins University. Selena spent over 20 years managing people as a business owner and operator. She holds certificates for foundational biblical and spiritual development. She is also a teacher and a public speaker. Selena has spent many years developing, teaching, mentoring, training and providing discipleship for leaders of the church community. Selena is skilled in small group dynamics and one-to-one counseling techniques. Through these endeavors her relational and communication skills have flourished and so has her desire to serve others.
