ABOUT US
COUGAR ACTIVITIES BOARD
ALLIANCE FOR PLANET EARTH
The PROJECT
The Cougar Activities Board (CAB) serves as the primary campus-wide programming body at the College of Charleston. Our mission is to program events that are of interest to a broad range of students and work with other organizations on campus to help ensure that their events affect the largest number of students possible with the highest quality
We have recently begun a campaign on campus called "Ban the Bottle CofC", which promotes the ban on sales of plastic water bottles (Aquafina, Deer Park, Fiji...) from campus stores, use within the President's office and from being used during school functions/events.
We chose this movie to show the community how the bottled water industry works. We believe in the upkeep of a community and our ultimate goal of becoming an environmentally friendly college and city can only be accomplished through community education.
Alliance for Planet Earth is the student organization at the College of Charleston. Our purpose is to promote awareness of social and environmental issues relevant to the college community and encourage students to become active citizens in regards to the environment.
