It is widely known that the quality of products built 50 or more years ago is very difficult to find in the products of today.Blacksmithing or ‘forging’ is an age old craft that lives on today at All Things Metal, LLC. It was the blacksmiths of yesteryear who turned metal into tools for everything from agriculture to home-goods and construction. We at All Things Metal, LLC, believe in providing the same, if not better, quality than the ‘smiths’ of yesterday with a modern day flare. All our products are custom handmade solid iron. Nothing is mass produced at All Things Metal, LLC. Each piece is handcrafted from start to finish, from design to forging to sanding and finishing. Work is completed one piece at a time for each customer. Assuring that you are receiving a quality crafted design in wrought iron. Many of the items shown on this website can be customized according to your size and design requirements. Customizing pieces may result in a price increase and longer delivery times. Please contact us prior to placing your order to discuss customization requests and price quotes. We can provide glass, marble, granite, sandstone, and solid wood as tops for tables and shelves in conjunction with the iron.We welcome the opportunity to work with you on a custom design piece. If you have a specific design in mind, you may submit a drawing or sketch with appropriate dimensions and relevant details. We will work together with you to make your vision a reality. If you do not have a drawing or sketch available, we can work together with you to create the design you are looking for. Depending on the nature of the piece being requested, design services may result in a fee.

What type of payments do you accept?For our customer's convenience, we accept paypal. How long will it take for my order to ship? What is the Lead Time?All our products are handcrafted upon order. Most smaller items ship within 2-4 weeks, larger items such as beds will ship within 4-6 weeks. Production times are estimated and may ship sooner or later than the time listed above depending on the volume of orders at the time of your order. Can I customize pieces that are shown on your site?Many of the items shown on this website can be customized according to your size and design requirements. Customizing pieces may result in a price increase. Please contact us prior to placing your order to discuss customization requests and price quotes.Can I commission a custom iron piece for my home or business?We welcome the opportunity to work with you on a custom design piece. If you have a specific design in mind, you may submit a drawing or sketch with appropriate dimensions and relevant details. We will work together with you to make your vision a reality. If you do not have a drawing or sketch available, we can work together with you to create the design you are looking for. Depending on the nature of the piece being requested, design services may result in a fee. Contact us at any time to discuss your commissioned work.Do you ship internationally?International shipping is available upon request. Please contact us to obtain a shipping quote for the item/items of interest. Our international order and shipping policy is outlined below.1. All Things Metal, LLC will charge the customer the stated price listed on the website and any shipping charges required to deliver the piece to the shipping address noted.2. Customer is responsible for all duties, taxes, and other charges associated with importing goods into their country.3. All Things Metal, LLC cannot be held accountable for any delays in shipping related to customs or other importation procedures.4. Customer is responsible for inspecting all merchandise upon receipt and notifying All Things Metal, LLC of any apparent defects within 24 hours. Any damages must be noted on the freight bill. Documentation of such damages may be required (i.e. - pictures) prior to return shipment. Original packaging and pieces must be saved.6. All regular order, return, security and privacy policies apply to international orders as well.How do I care for my iron furniture?Iron furniture, like all other furniture, has some basic care requirements. As iron is susceptible to oxidation, it is imperative that proper care is taken to optimize the life of your furniture. The care required is strongly dependent upon the type of piece, your location, and finish that is used. A large part of the attractiveness of wrought iron furniture and decor is that, properly cared for, it will last for generations. Most wrought iron furniture made today is not truly wrought iron but thin wall tubing. Indoor furniture will require very little maintenance. An occasional application, perhaps annually, of paste furniture wax and other preservatives, etc. will maintain the finish and color of modern furnishings. Realistically, even if indoor furnishings were never treated with anything more than the occasional dusting they would still look good for many years. Outdoor furnishings, however, take a beating being exposed to all weather and elements. Check them every so often, especially in spring time, for spots where the finish is getting dull, discolored, or where oxidation is beginning to form. Sand the discolored or rusted areas lightly with steel wool and touch up the paint with a metal spray paint from your local hardware store or other preservatives. Custom finishes may require special application methods. Contact us for other suggested preservatives.What is your order cancellation and return policy?Order Cancellation PolicyWe understand that it is sometimes necessary to cancel an order. We will accept order cancellations up to 3 days after your initial order date at no charge. Due to the handcrafted nature of our products, we will require a 35% restocking fee for orders cancelled after the 3-day order cancellation period. Once an item has shipped, the order cannot be cancelled and the customer is responsible for full payment. Refusing delivery of an authorized shipment does not release the customer from their liability of payment. The customer automatically authorizes shipment of products when they place their order, unless the order is cancelled according to the policies listed above.Return PolicyIn most cases you may return new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund less a 35% restocking charge. We can't accept returns on items that are custom made or custom finished. If the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.) we will happily pay the return shipping costs. Call Customer Service for details and a returned goods authorization (RGA).You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of shipping your package to All Things Metal, LLC designated return shipper. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your credit card provider to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).What if the item I ordered is damaged when I receive it?We make every effort to ensure that our products arrive in good condition. Unfortunately damages do sometimes occur during the shipping process. Because of the durable nature of iron, oftentimes a damaged box does not indicate a damaged product. If you receive a damaged package, ask the shipper to let you inspect the product before signing. If the product is damaged, refuse the shipment and note the damage on the bill of lading. This will help us hold the shipper accountable for handling damages, and keep costs as low as possible. If the package is not damaged, we ask that our customers inspect their order at delivery and notify All Things Metal, LLC of any damages immediately. We have a limited amount of time to file a damage claim with the shipping company; therefore, damages must be reported to All Things Metal, LLC within 24 hours of receipt. Documentation of such damages may be required (i.e. - pictures) prior to return shipment, so please keep your original packaging and any damaged pieces.Every effort will be made to resolve damage claims in a timely manner. Generally, a replacement piece will be issued for the damaged piece or pieces. If necessary, a full or partial refund of purchase price, tax (if applicable), and original shipping costs may be applied to the customer's credit card at the discretion of All Things Metal, LLC. Replacement piece(s) will be sent or credit issued to the customer after appropriate documentation had been made and a damage claim has been filed with the shipping company. Standard production times will apply to all replacement pieces as the replacement is also being handcrafted. Please allow up to 7-10 business days after the damage claim has been filed and resolution determined for credit card credits to be applied (if applicable). The customer will be notified via email once a resolution has been determined.Due to the nature of handcrafted wrought iron pieces, variations in color and texture are considered intrinsic and not a defect. Products will not be considered damaged for variations in color and texture.Privacy & Secure Shopping PolicyWe take our customers' privacy very seriously. Every measure is taken to ensure the highest level of security and confidentiality. We do not sell or otherwise exchange any of your information with any third parties unless otherwise needed to complete your transaction. The personal information of the buyer (i.e. - name, shipping address, billing address, phone number, or any other personal information) supplied to the company will not be disclosed to third parties.Information provided while placing an order will be handled according to the policies in effect at the time of the order.
