This website is dedicated to the wonderful state of Alaska and in particular the village of Tuluksak on the Lower Kuskowim Delta. Having only lived there for two years I can promise you I am no expert with reference to living on the tundra. I do however have a deep love for this community & hope to return someday to retire & help out in the school as a Reading Instructor volunteer.
Hidden Beauty
Tuluskak is a beautiful place. Not all who visit can see the beauty, but if you are lucky enough to visit or live there look deep into the surrounding landscape & the people. My pictures will speak volumes on both these issues. My writing section, (TBA) where I speak about the time I spent there along with my impressions hopefully will also shed light on living in Alaska from an outsiders point of view. Can a white man write about being an Alaskan & living on the tundra? Not really, but I will share my time & my thoughts but under no circumstances will I come across as an expert of living on the tundra. I taught there for two years and look forward to returning someday as a volunteer in the school as a Reading Specialist. Hope you enjoy my website as I begin to share my time spent there.
