Thank you for your generous support of my campaign for a seat on the Hartford Board of Education.
Unfortunately, on Election Day I fell a mere 87 votes short of obtaining a seat on the Board of Education. Nevertheless, running for the privilege of serving as a School Board member and fighting for Hartfords parents and kids was a great experience which allowed me to connect more than ever with my community.
My strong showing on Election Day would not have been possible without your contribution. Every dollar I received helped me accomplish many critical campaign tasks. Thanks to you, my campaign increased my profile and helped spread my message of opportunity, school reform, and accountability in the voting community so much so that the Hartford Courant gave me their endorsement! I could not have come as far as I did without your support, and I am deeply grateful.
Although I did not win this election, I remain focused on spreading the word about the issues I think must be addressed by the next Board, and remain committed to improving the Hartford community as a whole. Thank you again for your generous support and, most importantly, please stay in touch.
