I grew up in a big family, in a little town right on Lake Erie, in Ohio, and currently live in Utah.
I fill many roles and titles in life. However, being the Executive Assistant to two very small, very busy little people remains my greatest calling. And of course I do photography on the side. My plate is full, but my cup runneth over.
Being a small business owner, I rely heavily on referrals. Thank you so much for spreading the word about my business. Take advantage of the Referral Program as often as you like!
Here's how it works:
When you receive your print order from Aimee White Photography, you will also receive a set of 5 referral cards. These cards are customized with one of your session images and are valid for six months. Give them out to friends and family members who are not yet Aimee White Photography clients.
YOUR REWARD
For every new client that mentions you as a referral or redeems a card, you will recieve a $25.00 print credit! Your credit can be redeemed at your next Aimee White Photography portrait session (not valid for prints from prior sessions). Each print credit is redeemable for one purchase only, all unused amount will be forfeited. There is no limit to the number of referral credits you can earn. For example, if all five of your cards are returned to me by new clients before they expire, you can receive a $125.00 print credit!
THEIR REWARD
When a card is returned to me by a new client, that person will receive a free print from their portrait session (up to 8 x 10).
What to Wear
I get asked a lot what clients should and should not wear to sessions, here are a few ideas for your upcoming sessions.
- please no thick stripes/heavy logos or designs
- Bring a good mix of jeans, casual, and a dress.
- no solid white shirts as this distracts from the face.
- if this is an engagement or family session you dont have to match exactly, just be in the same color scheme.
- layers are always fun- Remember Color is always fun and wear something according to the location that we have chosen.
Example: open field something casual and layered.
Your outfits will determine what backgrounds we use, so if you bring a dressy dress we will take you somewhere nicer.
Bring PROPS! If you play an instrument, have a favorite hat/hoodie, favorite couch or chair, anything will make your session more unique. (Umbrellas, vintage hair clips, luggage, etc. make for fun props too.)
Gift Cards
Do you live in the Salt Lake area and are looking for a unique baby shower, birthday, or bridal shower gift? You can purchase gift cards for any amount that can go towards a photography session with Aimee White Photography.
Your gift card will come in a 5X5 chocolate brown petal envelope, and is a 5X5 flat card with a front and back as seen here. Simply click on the button below, fill out a Paypal order form and insert the desired amount you want on the card as well as where it should be shipped. Currently only accepting payment through paypal. $5.00 will go towards shipping and handling.
Want to browse location ideas to find the right spot for your session? Here are a few samples of some popular places I have taken photos. You can decide if you prefer a more country barn look, flowers and greenery, railroad tracks, or a city urban backdrop for example. Although I am always looking for new free locations, some places charge to take photos on their property. If this is the case, clients will be responsible for any location fees. Click on the location and you will be directed to my blog where I have pictures posted of sessions that have been taken there. I have many other locations not listed below that we can discuss when planning your session.
It is usually best to schedule a photo shoot with your little one 7-10 days after they are born.

The sitting fee covers the time and talent of the photographer and hand post-processing of each individual image. The sitting fee is due at the time of your session and does not include print prices.
Although I try to keep my eye out for the best free locations, if the chosen place requires a shooting fee the client will be responsible for all location charges.
