ABOUT US .
The Young Professional Society is an exclusive membership club that ‘parties with a purpose’ to benefit the Boys & Girls Club of Venice.
MISSION STATEMENT
The Young Professionals Society is dedicated to cultivating young, vibrant, professionals in the community by providing networking, professional development and volunteer opportunities. Leaders in their own fields and in the community, Young Professional Society members represent a diverse cross-section of Los Angeles, serving as ambassadors for the Boys & Girls Club of Venice.
What is a Young Professional, you ask? We categorize Young as anyone in their 20s & 30s; however, anyone young at heart, active and passionate is welcome to join!
We have Los Angeles’’ most motivated, energetic young professionals!
MEMBERSHIP.
Membership is only $20 per month and your donation benefits 4,100 children in Venice and surrounding areas. Membership is considered a donation to The Boys & Girls Club of Venice and is tax-deductible.

•Two (2) tickets to the annual Champion of Youth Gala and exclusive access to the VIP reception.
•Invitations to exclusive YPS events, CODE BLUE private cocktail social at Nikkis Venice, Professional Development Panels and other special events

•Recognition on the Boys & Girls Club of Venice Annual Report
Work to further members' access to and involvement in activities that serve and support Boys & Girls Club of Venice. Activities include planning volunteer events like MLK Day of Service and coordinating volunteers for after school programs.
A group of creative go-getters that help the Young Professional Society manage the brand and spread the word by writing press releases, designing marketing materials, writing articles for the e-newsletter and much more throughout the year. Exceptional individuals working together to brainstorm ideas for future events, implement and execute tasks for upcoming events and plan activities that are unique and appealing.
A group of members eager to greet and welcome people at events and organize and plan networking mixers. This group is key to the growth of the Young Professional Society.

UPCOMING EVENTS.
The Champion of Youth Gala will include a hosted reception, dinner, special performances by Club members, celebrity guest emcee, plus silent and live auctions. This special event will recognize and pay special tribute to community leaders who have become legacies within our communities because of their significant and exceptional philanthropic contributions, initiatives and leadership while achieving enormous successes in their professional careers.
Business leaders, corporate partners and individuals are invited to support this event through attendance and/or sponsorship. We appreciate your consideration to help make The Champion of Youth Gala a very special occasion!
Come partake in good old childish fun!
There will be trophies and prizes for the winning team and most creative team uniform, raffles, and food! Happy hour will be at Brennan's Pub after the event located at 4089 Lincoln Blvd.
16 Team Tournament - Double Elimination! Teams must have a minimum of 6 players and maximum of 10 players. Teams can be co-ed.
Fee: Early bird special before Feb 12 is $80 per team. After Feb 12 the fee is $100 per team. All proceeds benefit the Boys & Girls Club of Venice.
*Registration will automatically close when 16 teams register.

The crawl will make stops at various bars on Main Street in Santa Monica starting at 2:00 p.m. Official locations TBA.
Join us as we PAINT THE TOWN GREEN!!! Raffles, great prizes and much more! Community members and interested participants are encouraged to start a 'green' team and recruit friends to participate. The donation for teams is $100 (one captain and four crawlers) and $20 for individual crawlers. Donation includes access to each exclusive venue and VIP access to our official after-party.
This is a community event that encourages responsible drinking by participants. When taking part in any events that involve drinking, always keep safety first. Don't DRINK and DRIVE, and assign a designated driver at the beginning of the night, call a taxi, or use public transportation.
