BEHIND THE LENS
Adonis "Paul" Hunter was raised in the upperclass north Dallas city of Plano, Texas. He is a versatile artist; writer and photographer. The disciplines he practices are manifested in his words and most often pictures at his Los Angeles studio simply called "ahptical".
With his first camera he traveled the US and since then, he photographs what he sees or believes to see in a solitary and inquisitive task he performs with his distinct inspiration through the fickle fashion industry. Current clientele includes BCBG, Chanel, Prada, Sephora, Spiegel, Vogue Magazine and 100's of individual annual occassions.
Paul is a lover of all things retro. Before becoming a fashion photographer, ¨Diner in Green¨ was his first exposition in NYC in 2003 and won critical acclaim in architectural photography.
He's a single father and resides with his 8 year old son in Madeira Beach, Fl and commutes to his studios in Los Angeles, New York City, Dallas and Miami.

How it works for agency models.
Your photo session will be relaxed and fun in order to capture the mood of whatever the occassion or product may be. I don't use the "say cheese" philosophy of picture-taking, but rather strive for the natural shots that will trigger the agencies target shots.
Agency sessions usually last 3-4 hours and the location is completely up to client.
All agency rates are $800hr which include:
• Professional hair/makeup artist
• High-resolution selects on a DVD
• (2) retouched selects
How it works for weddings and occasions.
I take the same fun approach to weddings and corporate events as I do with any fashion shoot. If we are not all having fun then frankly I just dont want to do it and neither should you.
