Sometimes we find ourselves enslaved by our past. Sometimes the present seems bigger than we are. Sometimes we are paralyzed by fear of the future. When our emotions get in the way of living, when our pain makes us forget our own worth, counseling can help.
We are often drawn to others who are vastly different from ourselves. Those differences can cause friction later in a relationship. Communication skills training and emotional exploration can help couples in discord rediscover harmony.
Even the most well-intentioned parents at times find themselves in a quagmire, struggling to find the right formula for raising kids. If your family is affected by behavior problems, divorce, or trauma, parenting skills training may be beneficial to you.
