Breast Thermography is a 15 minute non-invasive test of physiology. It is a valuable procedure for alerting your doctor to changes that can indicate early stage breast disease. It offers the opportunity of earlier detection of breast disease than has been possible through breast self examination, doctor examination or mammography alone.
Thermography is a painless, non-invasive, state of the art clinical test without any exposure to radiation that is used as part of an early detection program which gives women of all ages the opportunity to increase their chances of detecting breast disease at an early stage. It is particularly useful for younger women where mammography is less effective.
Thermography's role in breast cancer and other breast disorders is to help in early detection and monitoring of abnormal physiology and the establishment of risk factors for the development or existence of cancer. When used with other procedures the best possible evaluation of breast health is made.
This test is designed to improve chances for detecting fast-growing, active tumors in the intervals between mammographic screenings or when mammography is not indicated by screening guidelines for women under 50 years of age.
•Far-Infrared Sauna - Infrared energy released by the Far Infrared Sauna can penetrate up to 1.5" deep into muscle tissue. 93% of this energy is absorbed through our skin. By heating these tissues, we experience a vasodilatation of peripheral blood vessels which can be beneficial in reducing muscle spasms, joint stiffness and achiness, as well as general aches and pains due to conditions such as Fibromyalgia, Osteoarthritis and Rheumatoid Arthritis.
The operating temperature of our infrared saunas is between 60° and 150°F, compared to traditional saunas which operate at 300° and 1000°F. This is important because one can withstand longer therapy sessions, resulting in increased sweat production.

• Full Body Thermography - Digital Infrared Thermal Imaging (also called DITI or Thermography) is a non-invasive imaging technique that allows the examiner to visualize and quantify changes in skin surface temperature. An infrared scanning device is used to convert infrared radiation emitted from the skin surface into electrical impulses that are visualized in color on a monitor. This visual image graphically maps the body temperature and is referred to as a thermogram. The spectrum of colors indicate an increase or decrease in the amount of infrared radiation being emitted from the body surface. Since there is a high degree of thermal symmetry in the normal body, subtle abnormal temperature asymmetrys can be easily identified. Your Thermal images are sent to a medical doctor who will provide you with an analysis of the results, which we will mail to you along with copies of your images.
