I believe our pets should have healthy treats, similar to what we would eat ourselves - no preservatives, no added sugar or coloring... just plain yummy stuff!
At Howl Naturale, we make 100% natural specialty pet treats right here on Chincoteague Island on the beautiful Eastern Shore of Virginia... And we also do custom designs - if you can dream it for your pet, we can create and bake it!
Howl Naturale's products are endorsed by Dr. John McKee DVM of Salisbury, Maryland. We have also been awarded "Virginia's Finest" from the Virginia Department of Agriculture...

In 1983, Inge Veneziano's life changed dramatically when she was involved in a motor vehicle accident. She suffered a neck fracture that left her with a permanent disability. At the time of the accident, she was working as a Licenced Practical Nurse and was forced to give up a career of more than 20 years in that profession. She searched for what to do next. She then focused on her love for animals, specifically her dogs...
In 2001, Inge decided to go into business making pet-friendly products and established Howl Naturale. As the owner of Howl Naturale, her goal is to provide all natural specialty pet treats which aid in the health and longevity of our cherished pets. As the dog treats hit the market on a limited basis, cat lovers began making requests for their in-house royalty. Meow Naturale was created for them!
With the company located on Chincoteague Island in Virginia, a place known for its wild ponies and the home of "Misty of Chincoteague", the interest for equestrian treats came through loud and clear... Corral Naturale was created for them.
Why the demand? The 3 specialty treats are hand-cut and baked just like your favorite cookies, all ingredients are human grade with no added preservatives, coloring, salt, or imitation flavorings. Keeping our pets healthy is Howl Naturale's primary goal.
The Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel toll collectors handed out over 1,000 pounds of Howl Naturale dog biscuits in 2007! The pilot project with Howl Naturale began in the fall of 2007 as Inge developed a seagull pet treat for the CBBT, shaped like their seagull logo. The first 50 pounds of peanut butter seagulls were delivered in December 2007. Made from whole wheat flour, real peanut butter and 2% milk, these seagulls are being very well received by the Bridge Tunnel's canine travelers!
