My name is Ashley Grogg and it would be my pleasure to capture precious moments in your life.
My love for photography started when I was a child. My Mom encouraged and nurtured my creativity in many ways. One of which was by giving me disposable cameras for vacations, I quickly became addicted. I would take pictures from all angles, my Mom probably wished she had a digital camera instead of using all that film. I thought it was so cool that I could capture a moment in time and carry it with me. As I grew so did my ability, instead of taking random pictures I became more focused and looked for that one perfect picture. It may take me a couple shots, but I will catch it! I have always been complimented on my ability to capture ‘the meaning’ of a moment.
I have dreamed of doing photography ‘professionally’ but have not really taken the time. I truly believe it is incredibly important to capture the milestones in your life! The birth of my daughter made realize how expensive pictures can be. Today’s economy may make it difficult to justify and find the money in your budget. I have recently had several requests to do photos for friends and have decided to pursue my dream. I want to give everyone the opportunity to have their pictures taken WITHIN their budget! If my daughter could talk she would tell you I am constantly pulling my camera out and taking her picture! I have learned life is incredibly short and seems to fly by- I want to be able to not only remember, but to see all the milestones in her life when she is grown and to be able to share them with her AND her children. I would love to be able to provide you with that ability as well.
