BEHIND THE LENS
My name is Melanie, I usually go by "Mel" and I'm the wife of my wonderful husband, Steve, and the mother of four amazing kids. My hair is never the same color, and I hate shoes on my feet, although I love a great pair of boots.I've always loved art and went to college to persue just that. My love turned to the camera my last year of college and I haven't put it down since! I currently run a Canon 7D and have a few lenses that are my favorites. I prefer natural light when I can get it, but am comfortable in my studio, too.I enjoy capturing "real" moments, not just the posed ones. I want to take the time to get to know you and get the shot that makes you say THIS is us!
