They have 26 products in their portfolio and are partners with Intel and HP (I brokered those relationships for the company). I approached HP and INTEL (on behalf of GFI) and in spite of GFI being virtually unknown to them, was able to convince both of these industry giants to examine the GFI software suite. I led the initiative to provide them test bed platforms and coordinated the effort. As a result, GFI is now a global partner with both INTEL and HP. This was (before my efforts) unheard of for a company as small as GFI.• Directed the operations in support of more than 30,000 Global Partners (40+ countries)• Built and maintained partner relationships with large corporate customers such as Microsoft, Intel and HP• Served as company liaison with large associative partners such as Microsoft• Helped to grow the company domestically and internationally from a $50MM to a $300MM company increasing the Partner base from 4500 to 30000.• Developed and deployed services and support programs for all areas related to partner channels. Such programs included global support systems to handle customer and Partner issues quickly. Building and deploying a global portal to expedite customer issues directly to senior management and creation of an elite technology team to review, test and provide feedback on all products which resulted in significant quality levels improvement and dramatic expansion of the products footprint and awareness world-wide.• Established relationships for the company with HP and Intel leading to global OEM agreements with both companies. – The agreements were initially set up as North America only but have moved to cover the entire global reach of both Intel and HP.• Served as primary liaison for the company to Microsoft, Intel and HP for all relationship contacts, issues and contractual obligations.Culminis (dba Support Service International, Inc) Charlotte, NC - President - April 2003 November 2008Culminis began as a small volunteer organization with modest funding from Microsoft with the mandate to reach out to IT Professionals on behalf of Microsoft. Taking the initiative, I used the funding to create a corporation which grew to provide support on behalf of Microsoft to more than 4000 associations and organizations reaching more than 3.5 million It Professionals in over 40 countries. Annual budget for operations exceeded $4MM.•Founded and built a company that provided support for IT Professional organizations, world-wide. Support systems included websites for more than 3000 IT Professional organizations, distribution of thousands of Microsoft Press books and materials, venue and event organization and support as well as distribution of vast amounts of Microsoft materials, software and other items on behalf of Microsoft.•Built and managed a professional team to create divisions and manage systems with 27 staff members from 14 countries. In spite of the enormous size of the base supported, with efficient use of online systems, we were able to effectively support our base achieving a 70% satisfaction rating.•Served as global liaison for large associative organizations to Microsoft Wells Fargo, Fort Mill, SC - Senior Portfolio Project Manager – Jan. 2001 – April 2003• At Wells Fargo, they were seeking a way to build an online financial application quickly in order to secure a very lucrative contract for the company. At that time, the development cycle was too long to meet the deadline. I introduced them to .Net technology and Rapid Application Development (RAD) principles. I led the teams in using the (then) new technology resulting in the first successful use of .Net for a business application and won a very large contract that would not have been possible without my leadership.• Directed multiple Technology Projects including the first commercial application of .Net in a business environment. Other projects included internal web based applications utilizing a variety of software and hardware technologies to provide a complete online sourcing and systems management/integration solution based on management needs and expectations.• Responsible for all IT project management including database administration and management.• Teams under my direction successfully completed projects saving the company more than $50mm I directed the work of 11 professionals Project Managers, 27 application developers and 11 network engineers.• Prepared management reports and provided updates and information to senior management on a regular basis for all projects involving network administration and deployment, data center management and application development in support of the bank’s operations.• At Wells Fargo my team developed and deployed applications and services that increased revenue from $11MM to $55MM in less than six months using new technologiesManagement Systems Designers, Charlotte, NC - Regional Director – May 1996 - Jan. 2001• The company was a federal contracting firm based in Washington DC which specialized in large application development and network infrastructure projects for the Dept. of Defense, the IRS, The VA and other federal agencies. At Management Systems Designers (MSD), I began with a fairly small contract but was able to persuade the IRS that I could expand the operations and increase productivity. Through my efforts and the work of the teams I led, they agreed to increase the contract substantially. I also presented alternative software solutions to them which they embraced and purchased agency-wide.• Directed multi-million dollar federal technology contracts for multiple federal agencies including the Internal Revenue Service and the Veteran’s Administration.• Responsible for all IT projects within contract parameters including development and deployment of the third largest database in the US (IRS).• Teams under my direction successfully developed and built advanced technology systems to monitor and manage taxpayer data for over 50 million people.LaDove Inc. Charlotte, NC - Managing Director – Aug. 1991 – May 1996• Built a company that grew to an international distribution and consulting firm with operations in 36 countries Initially LaDove provided consulting support to small businesses helping them to reorganize operations and become more profitable. Over time, the opportunity arose to expand services to international consulting to assist foreign investors to secure American franchises. Ultimately, I was able to secure franchises such as McDonalds for investor groups in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Saudi Arabia. I negotiated large contracts for the Egyptian and Saudi governments and LaDove became the exclusive distributor of more than 20 companies in the Middle East such as Great Dane, Bionaire, Konami and others.• Selected and managed a professional team of 34 Agents and their support staff spread across 36 countries to create divisions and manage systems in difficult, diverse environments• Grew the company domestically and internationally from a base startup to revenues of more than $2MM annuallyFederal Sector Experience – Various agencies – Jan. 1977.
