A Man after the heart of God -- Elder A. DavisIt's wonderful how God allows individuals to cross our path in life so that we may observe and experience the blessings of these unique vessels. Vessels shaped, gifted, and preserved for this present era to make a positive impact in the Body of Christ and the world. And so it is with Elder “AD” Davis, a man chosen, called, anointed, and empowered from his mother’s womb to preach the Gospel to the nations under the power and authority of the Holy Ghost.Elder Davis is an Ordained Elder (Evangelist) and filled with the authenticity of the Holy Ghost according to Acts 2:4. Being an evangelist at heart, he is one of today’s rising preachers that is making an impact in the Kingdom. Coming from a rich Pentecostal heritage of preachers, singers, and musicians, it is evident that the oil would continue to flow and rest upon his life. He is currently a member of Changing A Generation FGBC in Atlanta, GA under the leadership of Bishop Paul S. and Dr. Debra B. Morton where he functions in ministry and leadership. He is also enrolled at Liberty University pursuing a dual master’s degree in Business and Theology.Strategically placed in the kingdom to operate in the prophetic office which is upon his life, Elder Davis aims to minister to the heart and soul with words of deliverance, healing, and encouragement. Through the auspice of God and by his charismatic style of preaching in using applied and real life relevance of the Word of God, he evangelizes throughout the U.S. traversing ethnic and denominational lines. "My goal in ministry is to impact the kingdom through empowerment by promoting Godly living and functioning as purposed by God which can only come through transparency and realness." "You can't enjoy today if you're worrying about the past or the future."Your mind and your thoughts could be stuck in the past, continually thinking about what has already happened. If that's the case, it's best to get over it. The past has already happened; you can't do anything to change it. Rather, you ought to trust God that he is working out those things for ultimate good (see Romans 8:28). On the other hand, your mind could be stuck in the future, thinking about what might happen, what you fear will happen, and things you wish wouldn't happen. However, being a person of faith requires trust--trusting God about the future. Romans 15:13 says, May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him. You'll have joy and peace when you trust in God. Why? Because you'll be able to rest and relax knowing that God has good plans in store for you (Jeremiah 29:11). Don't worry about the past or the future. Instead, have faith; trust God. When you trust God to help you learn from the past and provide for your future, you're free to enjoy your life today.
