What is the National Association of the Deaf?
Work with your partner to prepare a short oral report about the mission of the organization, an NAD issue, an NAD event and an NAD current event.
Be prepared to debate both sides of the issue you select as well as your personal opinion.

What would it feel like to be in the midst of hearing people when you cannot hear?
Two days this week, you will be given ear plugs just before lunch. You must spend your lunch period wearing the ear plugs. You may not sit at lunch with anyone who is in this class.

Research the people below. Then create a PPT presentation about the ten people whose lives impressed you the most. Be sure you explain why you chose the ten people you chose. Include what you have learned about yourself as you consider their lives. Your presentation should include pictures and creative writing and should engage your audience.
