Class Ten have been working on the art of African Masks in relation to their class topic - Black History.
The masks were made using two pieces of coloured card. They carefully cut out shapes from one of the pieces of coloured card and placed them on the opposite side, creating a symmetrical face.

This term Class Ten have been learning all about Australia.
They created some beautiful pieces of Aboriginal art by using the end of a cotton bud to carefully print around an Australian animal stencil , which they made themselves.
Class Ten have also been busy creating wonderful images of Ayers Rock. They used three different artistic techniques (collage, water colours, and paint) to create their pieces of work.
After conducting research on Australia, the children created their own brochure of a place of their choice in Australia.
In line with their class topic, 'The Victorians', Class Ten have created Victorian inspired toys. They have used clever cam mechanisms to create a nodding sheep.
Class Ten have been working hard on producing these beautiful Chinese Lanterns. They cut their wood to make the initial frame and then decorated it using tissue paper and paint.
The children in Class Ten have created some amazing cartoons in the Manga style as part of their class topic 'The Far East'.
This term Class 10 have been learning about The Aztecs. They have produced some wonderful prints of Aztec Gods and some of the patterns used by the Aztecs. They created these by drawing and scoring their pattern into a piece of polystyrene and then dipping it into paint.
