I first competed in Pageants in 2010, when on a whim I decided to enter Miss England. Being plus size is not easy in Pageantry but thankfully it is becoming more accepted. I won Miss Loughborough 2010 and went to compete at the Miss England Semi Final in June.
I have since competed in Miss Galaxy England (representing Northumberland - the first girl to rep the county on the national stage EVER!) and Miss Modelzed, where I made it to the top 8 finalists in a very tough competition.
I have put pageants on hold for 2012 to focus on my work with Simply Be, but I do still offer advice to budding beauty queens on what it takes - inside and out - to win that crown. Contact me for more info!
