In 1986, 14 year old Andrew Bell received his scuba diver certification in Victoria, B.C.
Soon after certification Andrew worked part time at a local dive
shop. Here, he had the opportunity to get fully involved with scuba diving.
A few years later he began shooting underwater video on a
regular basis, and produced several commercial underwater
videos. This in turn led to the production of a four part underwater television series.
In 1996, Andrew moved London, England. As the manager
of Ocean Optics, the UK's premier underwater photography
specialist company, he was given the opportunity to dive some of
the world's finest locations, and advise some of the world's finest underwater photographers.
Andrew was also regularly commissioned as a technical director
and underwater photographer for commercial underwater photo shoots.
