I am a student photographer.
Currently, I'm a junior at the University of Kansas studying Design with a focus in Photomedia. Photomedia is essentially modern digital photography as well as aspects of video. I'm blessed to be able to study in this new and exciting program that KU started in 2008.
It all started with a little pink plastic Barbie camera. The love affair began right then and there. My first subjects were my beloved dog Sadie, a mangy group of stuffed animals, and my unsuspecting parents.
My work now consists of a broad range of photographs, from traditional portrait sessions to journalistic projects. Regardless of the subject, my photos always seem to incorporate a human element.
To put it simply, I love photographing people. We are unique, dynamic creatures, and nothing makes my camera happier than getting to document that kind of beauty.
