About Nicole Cleary Slay

ABA and children are my passion. Since getting my B.S. in 2004 I've been teaching children diagnosed with ASD or Autism Spectrum Disorders in homes, schools, and most recently in clinic settings. After graduating from Florida State University with a Master's degree in Psychology emphasis Applied Behavior Analysis I've been following my passion completely. During this time I've taught multiple children, not just two or three, who were nonverbal to sign or say their first words. I've seen children who were still knee walking at 2, take their first steps. I've helped children who would scream, cry and cover their ears when brought into a group setting for music, look at me and ask "let's go see friends!". And lastly, children who could not even answer "who is that?" when looking at their mom, learn to yell out mommy when a session ended and they heard a knock at the door. A price cannot be put on some things and that's what I want to bring to you through in home ABA.

ABA, What is it? Why is it so effective?

ABA is so effective because is takes researched based, empirically validated

methods of instruction in conjunction with a set of goals, tailored sepcifically to meet your childs needs. Rather than teaching a general set of skills , ABA determines what is most important to you and your child and then through tested methods of teaching sets about to teach those skills in the most efficient way. Rather than simply taking my word for it research ABA today , I know you will be superised.
