J Brunner has been photographing people, places, and things all his life.
A multiple award winning 25 year veteran of motion picture, television, commercial, and print photography, he has worked tirelessly to perfect his art and craft under the scrutiny of some of the largest and most critical clients anyone should hope or fear to have, including National Geographic, Proctor and Gamble, The SciFi Channel, MTV, and all three major US networks. Along the way he won a bunch of awards, and not just industry door stoppers, but things like Emmy awards from the National Acadamy of Television Arts and Sciences, and the National Vision Award for cinematography.
The lessons learned are many, but first and foremost is that succesful photography is about kindness, communication, understanding, and light.
He is comfortable with any technology that is related to imaging, and photographs with everything from a hundred year old plate camera to
the most modern digital equipment. Comfortable and competent with
a computer or in the darkroom, a venerated photographic professional
in the true spirit of the word.
