Yoga Confederation of Commonwealth undertake and promote, guide and coordinate research activities in various aspects of Yoga, particularly its preventive, promotive and curative health potential; YCC standardize the methods and curricula for Yoga & Allied Health Sciences, Ayurveda and Yoga sports education and training, YCC compile information and propagate the existing knowledge about Yoga & Allied Health Sciences, Ayurveda. YCC develop a database on the knowledge regarding scientific discoveries, institutions involved in Yoga research, scientist and their contribution in the field of Yoga & Allied Health Sciences, Ayurveda and Yoga Sports.YCC to encourage and support facilities for making the benefits of Yoga & Allied Health Sciences, Ayurveda and Yoga Sports widely available; YCC hold examinations and award academic distinctions in Yoga & Allied Health Sciences, Ayurveda, Ayurveda and Yoga Sports. Giving recognition and support to any Yoga & Allied Health Sciences, Ayurveda Institutes, Teachers, Organizations those who are work in Commonwealth Nations the YCC is co-ordination with them. To enforce and defend the exclusive right of the Federation to the use of the Yoga insignia, confining their use and, as far as possible, that of the words "Yoga" and "Yoga Sport" to activities concerning the Yoga Games. To be the official organization in complete and sole charge of all Yoga matters and Yoga Sport in entire commonwealth countries In cooperation with National Federations to guard and enforce amateur rules of Yoga Sport. YCC act as a center of excellence in Yoga; to develop and propagate the science and art of Yoga and to provide and promote facilities of training, teaching, registration and research to fulfill the above these objectives .

Book-banks, yoga-cum-meditation centers, gurukuls, sport-complexes, sport- grounds, Naturopathy, Yoga & Allied Health Sciences, Ayurveda hospitals, orphanage, night shelters, Yogic old-age homes, hostels for working women & men those are engage with promotion of Yoga, auditoriums, exhibition grounds, public utility centers, art-galleries, museums, workshops for vocational/professional training, Yoga Sports, etc.
3.To resist and oppose anti form of discrimination on grounds of race, religion, politics, sex or otherwise and to resist violence in Yoga & Yoga sport
4.To collaborate and help National Sport Federations, National Olympic Associations and other Sports bodies to provide expertise guidance in their training how to use Yoga to enhance the performance of players by physically, mentally and spiritually.
5.To lay down guidelines to enforce the Anti-Doping Code of the International Olympic Committee and to fight against the use of substance and procedures prohibited by the International Olympic Committee or the International Federations

Send the statutes of your yoga organization, with all the legal information and certificates, the name of your organization, HQ, executive board, members, structure, etc by post with the official letter for your membership to YCC.
Registered Individual Yoga Teachers or Schools. YCC registers both individual yoga teachers and yoga teacher training programs (schools) who have complied with minimum educational standards established by the organization. Individual Yoga Teachers or Schools can be register for 100 Dollars on ONE time payment in your life.

RULES & REGULATIONS FOR THE COMPETITION
a.Olympic Yoga Competition: Athletic Yoga is a demonstration of asanas (postures) based on the theory of yog-shastra posture performed with the perfection and relaxation without strain. Athletic Yoga Competition will consist of two sequences (1) first sequence will consist of five compulsory asanas (postures) and one optional asana (posture) (2) second sequence will consist of five compulsory asanas (postures) and two optional asanas (posture). Holding time for each asana (posture) will be 30 seconds. Optional asanas will be from outside the given syllabus and will be as per the choice of the competitor but holding time will remain 30 seconds. A copy of both sequences is enclosed herewith.
b.Artistic Yoga Competition: Artistic Yoga consists of presentation of various asanas (postures) including forward bending, balancing, front and backward lying postures, sitting postures, etc. performed in all four directions with music. It is synchronization of body movement with music (without break). Number of postures performed should be 8-10 of competitors choice. Time duration for the presentation will be 120 to 150 seconds.
c.Artistic Pair Yoga Competition: Artistic Pair Yoga Competition consist of presentation of various asana (postures) including forward bending, balancing, front and backward lying postures, sitting postures etc. including pyramid making, performed in all four directions with music of competitors choice. The following precautions should be taken into consideration for the competition:
(i)The pair will consist of either both the girls or both the boys.
(ii)Both the participants will perform two different postures at a time. Performing same posture or same nature of posture will be a disqualification.
(iii)Body touch is allowed in the competition.
(iv)Making of pyramid will be given preference.
(v)Synchronization of body movements with music will be given top preference.

d.Rhythmic Yoga Competition: Rhythmic yoga is also known as pair Yoga. The pair may consist of either both the boys or both the girls. Rhythmic Yoga is the presentation of various asanas (postures) including forward bending, backward bending, balancing front and backward lying postures etc. performed in all four directions with music. However, the following precautions are to be taken:
(i)The same posture should be performed by the pair together. There should not be any variation in postures at a time performed by the pair.
(ii)There should not be any body touch between the two participants.
(iii)There should be perfect synchronization of body movements with the music.
(iv)The number of postures performed should be 8-10 of competitors choice.
(v)Time duration for the presentation will be 120-150 seconds.
e.Yoga on Rope: Perform the Yogasana on the hanging rope is called Yoga on rope
(i)The total maximum time allotted for the performance will not be more than 120 seconds (2 minutes) and not less than 90 seconds (1:1/2 minutes).
(ii)Asana performed after that time will not be counted for Marks.
(iii)Performer must perform his Yogasana Skill on the apparatus.
(iv)By the definition of Yoga, the pose must be Steady, technically complete (Final Pose) & Pleasing to performer.
(v)Performer must demonstrate his ability in forward bending, backward bending, leg stretching and strength.
(vi)Only the Steady and technically complete asana (Final Pose) elements will be counted / judged.
(vii)Number of valid elements performed and their difficulty level.Perfection in the final pose.Overall execution of a sequence.
EVALUATION
A.For each competition, there will be 1 Superior Judge, 4 Judges, 1 Time Keeper, 2 Scorer and 1 Referee to conduct the competition and evaluate the performance.
DISTRIBUTION OF MARKS FOR EACH COMPITITION
Each posture (Asana) will consist of maximum 10 Marks which will be divided as fallows:-
