1. Take some time getting to know Wix before you trying to design your own room. Open a blank document or one of the samples and just play around. There's also a really useful Help section (click Help on the bottom left-hand corner of the Wix editor). 2. When you're ready to work on your room, go to 'Create' > 'Art' > 'Exhibition'. There, you'll find exhibition room templates: rollover your favorite & click 'Edit'. A new page will open which you can fully customize and make into your own. 3. Before you do anything, save your page! (there's a 'Save' button on the top right). You can keep editing after you save. And if you logout you'll find them again in the 'My Account' section of Wix.com. If you're unsure about an element of your design, and want to hold on to your current version before adding more elements, save another copy by clicking 'File' >'Save As' and giving it a new name. 4. Take a look around your room: imagine it as a real space, your dream exhibition room. I've written instructions on the room's walls explaining how to change colors and textures of anything in the room. You'll also find info on what to do if something isn't moving :) 5. Designing your room: *To Upload Pictures & Images: go to the 'Media' icon on the left menu and click 'My Media'. A window will pop on the bottom right where you can upload pictures from your computer, a URL, or from a Flickr account. In 'Media' you can also upload music & videos. *To add slides and other cool features, go to the 'Widgets' icon on the left menu. *If one of your objects disappears, it's probably behindanother object. Play with the 'Send Forward' icon. *If you try to move an object & it won't click on the 'Lock' icon – this will unlock it. 6. To Open/Add Another Room: Go to the 'Page Manager' on the top right menu. There you can look at all the pages you've created. To add a page/room click on the 'double squares' icon. Duplicating is another great alternative to 'Save As' if you're unsure of your design. 7.
